Our Signature Service

At Black Widow Pest Control & Turf Works, we are proud to offer our valuable signature service. What it includes are six services using only the highest-grade commercial products over six-week intervals between March and October. 

What follows is a breakdown of how our signature service works: 

Early Spring

We start by treating your lawn to control crabgrass. Additionally, we apply fertilizer, which provides the grass with nutrients that will allow it to thrive as the weather begins to get warmer in Utah. 

Late Spring

For this treatment, we stop any weed populations in their tracks. Then, we apply another round of fertilizer to strengthen your lawn and help it grow. 

Early Summer

We treat for any remaining weed populations and once again apply fertilizer. During this initial summer visit, we also watch for discoloration and other signs of disease or populations of grubs, chinch bugs, and other pests. The summer is when these issues are most prevalent. 

Late Summer 

During the warmest months of the year, we use a fertilizer solution that is designed to help your lawn withstand heat stress. We also continue to monitor for weed populations, signs of disease, and pests and perform necessary treatments. 

Early Fall 

We apply granular fertilizer, which assists seed germination and puts your lawn on a healthy path for the next spring. During this visit, we will also implement spot treatments for weeds. 

Late Fall 

During our final service, we prepare your lawn for the coming winter. We apply a nutrient-dense fertilizer that will provide your grass with everything it needs to make it through our famously cold and snowy winters in Utah.
